KOMBIS 5503 automatic tube making line can be
optionally fitted with modules to enlarge its basic
function. All automatic lines produced in the factory
allow addition of supplementary modules. It means that
if the line lacks any optional module when bought, it is
not a problem to add one later in order to enlarge its
options.

PBL module:
One of the most essential Kombis 5503 options is the
welding of PBL tubes. The standard electrode and mandrel
of the body maker used for the longitudinal body seam
are replaced by ones specially designed for this
laminate type. Hot air helps the shoulder welding.
According to users' wish, the shoulder-welding module
could also be used for pre-heating of ABL tubes.
Top Sealing Module:
The top-seal module is one of the first KOMBIS 5503
options developed to enlarge its potential. This module
is easily attached and activated only by checking a box
on the screen of the unit. The membrane is welded by
heat and the module sets the temperature.
Feeding elevators:
The purpose of the elevators is to help the feeding of
the vibrating hoppers especially when the tubes have a
greater diameter (30 mm or more). The elevators
influence the better independent operation of the unit
for a longer period of time. A central computer turns
them on and off and a frequency controller sets them in
motion.
Trolley:
Its function is to facilitate the change of the modules.
It has a cabinet for keeping different tools and
auxiliary instruments.
